My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at Blue Moon Acres! It was his first time ever riding and he was a bit nervous going into it. The calm, laid back teaching provided helped him feel comfortable and confident by the end of the ride. The learning environment was great -- it was positive and challenging. I have been riding a few different times and still enjoyed the ride. It definitely isn't just a "walk in a line, plodding along" kind of ride. It can be customized to fit the group riding and the trail itself provides exciting bits and calm bits along the way. A great experience at a great price! If we ever return to Ohio, we'd definitely go back!

Gift Certificates & Horseshoes
All Certificates can be used in various ways; towards longer rides, bigger groups, etc.
Regular Gift Certificates are always available for purchase (certificates valid until Oct. 31st of the year purchased).
PLEASE, before you buy a gift certificate; keep in mind - that we are a small stable & all riders must meet certain criteria to ride with us. For example: we can’t take more than 4 guests on the same ride (they must split up).
Due to the rugged trails, we do not take small children or double anyone. & rides are by reservation.
Buy for a friend or yourself ! Just write down the details; & if you want it mailed directly to them - we can do that, too. Also, some people have wanted a ‘good luck’ horseshoe; we can often get one from a particular horse, if requested.
A horseshoe - cleaned up & painted any simple color you choose ( or clear coat ). $ 10 each includes shipping.
As always, ALL income from the raffle, rides, etc. goes to pay for the horse’s needs & expenses. This is the reason we do the riding stable. We have two choices: have a job to support the horses & not have much time to spend with them; OR work WITH the horses to help them support themselves & have LOTS of time with them. With good horses & a great location - EASY choice.
