MYSTI'K (pronounced Mistique) was born in 2008. Male or Female rider, results are the same. She is entirely too smart, has a very Human personality, & a Teenager "Tude"! Very Sassy with her siblings. She is mostly used as a wrangler's horse and NEEDS a bold, VERY advanced rider. She can take up to @250# and over 2 hrs it's @225#. BE AWARE, she's VERY Lazy & Bratty most of the time. & determined to snack excessively !
She is the 2nd Horse excused from working in Hot/Humid weather.

The Father of Mysti`k, POWERSTROKE - is nearly ONE-TON  (2,000 pounds), 1999 model Percheron (a full draft breed). Stroker was a Stud (that's how we got Mysti`k) & has been gelded since Nov. 2008. He has a pretty gentle/slow nature - BUT, a Very BIG Powerful Trot !! He has an intelligent & mature mind, & is agile for his size.  He can be ridden by an Adventurous Adult rider. He occasionally gets Food Brain & is LAZY. BUT, as you are sitting 6 Feet in the air - he is not for everyone. Stroker has the hardest time in Hot/Humid weather & is the 1st to be scratched from working in it. He can take riders up to @275# for a maximum of 1 hr. In 2025 he's well into Senior years and as such is limited-duty. Usually he will not ride more than 2 times per day.

Bobby was born approximately 2014 and looks to be a Haflinger cross (which is a smaller draft horse). He is very smart and a little ornery. He is two handed or "English" rein currently and is learning one handed or "Western" rein. He can be a bit bouncy at the trot, but is easy to post if kept at a slow trot. Best with a Assertive Novice rider as he likes to snack if given the opportunity. Carries 250#, over 2 hrs - 225#.

NEW! Ranger was born approximately 2012. We think he is possibly a plantation style TWH and he is gaited. He is sweet and sensitive, but can be a little bullheaded at times due to anxiety. At this time he is still in training and is a Wrangler horse only.

IN  SUMMARY ...
Only a couple of the horses are easy for a Nervous or Novice Adult/Teen rider at this time (less than 10 hours riding), the others are better with Bold/Assertive or more Experienced riders.
 

As of March 2025, no more than *TWO (2) guest riders* at a time for rides longer than 1 hour until we can get new guest horses ready. I am hoping to get 1 or 2 more new Horses in 2025. The sooner the better!
